I get where Stevyy is coming from. Lennon has been dead over 30 years, even if you acknowledge him as one of the greatest ever, sometimes its easy to take him for granted in comparison to artists who are still around (well MJ and Whitney are dead too, but they've made music in our lifetimes).

Star's just pointing out that you had the opportunity to nominate him in the nomination round but you didn't which is surprising considering the high praise you gave him.

maybe that's putting some light to this confusing topic.

I'm curious now, would you recommend me a John Lennon album? :)

yes, his solo debut is awesome (as all of his albums are).. I also highly recommend Mind Games. I know it didn't do that well on the charts but since when do chart placings tell us what's good?

yep, there's practically nothing Beatles-related on Spotify except for a few of Ringo Starr's more recent albums... and honestly, who cares about him?

True, Walls And Bridges is excellent too... particularly Scared and #9 Dream. (which ironically peaked at #9 on the US charts)

And yay for Michael Jackson. :)

hahaha, oh my.. poor Beatles.

I cannot imagine that when they started out many people thought of them as bubble gum pop or the next mainstream sensation.. until.. yep until they became bigger than music itself.

So congratulations Michael Jackson. He is easily one of the biggest music stars of all times. A true force for the black community and pop music. In every sense of the word, the King of Pop. When I was a little kid, way before I discovered Whitney (1992) and Mariah (1994) I knew his music, his performances, his videos and his bizarre look, ok back then, he was still hot and cute

Congrats to MJ. You wouldn't have 75% of the stars today without him.

Michael Jackson is an absolute legend. So were The Beatles, so either one is a great addition to the Hall.

Thanks Star!
