This is actually kinda good. Go Kimmy. Is it true that this was trending worldwide when it was released? If she focuses on putting out great tracks she can have a great comeback. She needs to understand that will constitute as the ultimate diss.

Kim been had hits before she turn 30. Nicki going to be 30 this year, with two cds out. Nicki got to play catch up to where Kim is.

Black Friday was a mixtape, so I don't know what your point about bring that up. Nicki better hope this cd sell because PF really didn't do all that well, especially after I heard a lot of people brought back her cd to exchange it for other rappers cd. & seeing that she was the only female out that year.

She was on other people song before her cd came out. She was the only female out, she had 8 singles out & she only sold 1.6 million in the US. PF really under perform.

My nephew who was big fan of hers at the time. Told me, that his friends told him not to bother buying her cd. & most them exchange PF for other rapper cds. I would tell you who but then Ya'll think I'm lying.

Kim been did autotune, check out her Download song.

But this isn't about Nicki this about KIm. I love all the songs she did. I'm Not The One, If You Love Me, & Keys To The City.

I truly disagree that Pink Friday has underperformed selling 1.8 million so far. It's still selling well, so it will easily pass 2 million sales. I think it has sold so well. Of course you're intitled to your opinion, but i didn't think anyone here thought it underperformed!

I am a massive Kim fan (and some would say a Nicki hater :lol:

) but you can't argue with the sales. The sales show that the whole Pink Friday era was a huge success for Nicki, like the Hard Core era was a success for Kim.

Some would say it's even more of a success because
a. album sales are generally lower nowadays, so go to 2x Platinum is a bigger achievement now than it was 16 years ago
b. Nicki has broken through and become a big star internationally, which is something Kim never managed

However, you would never catch me saying those things. #Kim4Life

Once again when Kim was feature on other people songs before Hardcore came out. Hardcore sold, while Kim had competition, Kim only had two or three singles out & she still went platinum in the same year.

8 singles out with videos & she only sold 1.6 million. & ya'll think the record company is please with that. & I'm sure they know about people who were returning her cd back to the stores.

They are keeping a close eye on Minaj. Especially now that old time rappers are coming back. Eve, Missy, Lil Kim, females rappers they are use to competition.
