I agree :P

"Ég Anda" is so gorgeous, it reminds me of Explosions In The Sky. I think the 2nd half of the album lacks Jónsi.

Though I reckon their albums aren't the easiest to listen to, you need to be in the right spirit to appreciate the music to the max.

done very well chart-wise #7 in US and #8 in UK is great!! and #1 in Ireland is so unexpected!!!!

wasn't super crazy about the album at first, it lacks a bit of Jonsi!!! but now I love it, especially Varud!!!

What have you played? :P

I'd start with "Takk..." or "Með suð í eyrum við spilum endalaust", they're their most accessible records definitely. "Ágætis byrjun" is their masterpiece and "()"'s my personal favourite.

Gobbledigook (Live With Bjork at Naturra) (awesome!!!)
Sigur Rós - Hoppípolla (I'm sure you've heard this one already)

If angels (existed &) made music, it'd sound like Sigur Rós.

^^but actually Sigur Ros have (generally speaking) 2 kind of songs, some very upbeat and happy like Hoppipolla, their most popular song... but then they have a different side with more introspective songs like the whole ( ) album or the new one... I like both sides of Sigur Ros but I guess that depending on your personal music taste you might prefer one or the other... or none... Sigur Ros is a bit like anchovies, it's not for everybody

but personally I rate ( ) as one of the top 10 albums in the history of music!!!

This album has jolted my soul deeply tonight!

This is on the level of... well I can't think of anything right now. Maybe on the level of planet jupiter on a comparison to other planets!

The piano, of all the instruments, is so harmonized that I can't even sit still, I'm lying on my bed for an hour or so..

I wasn't ready for this...

Or maybe that's what I was waiting for unconsciously!

I'm hypnotized and now wandering on the brightest streets of the sky...

Yours truly, Evren.

This album is truly EPIC! :o

Wow! What a gorgeous, hypnotizing record.

It definitely takes you somewhere else, like you are in some sort of trance.

I didn't expect this but this masterpiece is deffo a contender for album of 2012 so far.

Time to check out some more stuff by Sigur Rós!

Oh and the video for "Fjögur Píanó" is pure ART! Love it!
