I agree more or less.
I'll always support Usher and his vocals are so on point right now but he's had better work thats for sure.

I felt Climax was really fresh whereas Scream wasn't. The album could have been maybe trimmed a bit too.

The most weird thing about this Album is.

I am not a big fan blah blah

But pretty much every song's middle 8 verse is amazing. Even crappy screams middle 8 verse where he belts like crazy is hot.

OK so far...

"Can't Stop Won't Stop" is boring, why on earth they picked this as the opening track. I really like I can't cant stop it can't can't stop it part though.

"Scream" is actually pretty great, it's definitely a grower. I can see why everyone dislikes it though, generic Dance-Pop track. "Climax" is amazing, duh.

I really appreciate the production of "I Care For U". The same with "Climax", it's an R&B slow jam that incorporates Dance/Electronic elements. The vocals are totally outstanding on this one, but the melody isn't that memorable though. Don't think it would work as a single.

"Show Me" is a bit bland. It kinda remind me of his old stuff, don't know. "Lemme See" is still hot till now.

Oh yesss "Twisted" is AMAZING! Unlike "Dedication To My Ex" which is totally a "Forget You" rip-off, this one sounds different. I'm not sure how it would work as a single, but seeing that both "Dedication" and "Forget" did brilliantly outside the States, then I'd love it to be one. Oh, and for some reasons, I think it would fit into Christina Aguilera's Back To Basics. :o

"Dive" is another OK track. It feels relaxing and he delivers another outstanding vocals on this one, as well as in "What Happened To U". "Dive" could probably work as an Urban single, not sure though. Both are not the type of songs that I'd like to play over and over again.

"Looking 4 Myself" is OK. The chorus is really nice. But it's not that similar to "Somebody That I Used To Know" as everyone said. I think it could be a single actually. And i don't see what's special in "Numb", seriously. "Lesson For The Lovers" kinda remind me of "There Goes My Baby". It's really nice but still has to grow on me more.

"Sins of My Father" is WOW! :o :o
I love it, I thought it's gonna be a ballad but glad I was wrong! LOVE IT LOVE IT! It's the sins of my fathaaaa...

Wow "Euphoria" should definitely be a single for sure! Not that I like it, even I still think "Scream" is better though, but the dance breakdown really makes this song!

..."I.F.U.". :o
The beat itself >>>>>>>>>
Definitely a [Urban] single worthy. Love the Indian vibes on it. But the melody could've been better, it's not that catchy and I find that the whole song is kinda flat.

"Say The Words" is bawrrinnggg. Oh, "2nd Round" - another hot beat that's wasted IMO.

OH YASSS at "Hot Thing", this is what I call a BANGER! It's very Trey Songz-ish but I'm complaining.

Highlights: "Climax", "Twisted", "Sins of My Father", "Scream", "Lemme See", "Hot Thing".

Overall, actually I don't want to say this but I'm not impressed like everyone else did. As sambo said, they melodies are weak, though it's really brilliant production-wise. The combination of Electro/Dance elements into his signature Urban sound really works. And I haven't found any tracks that I'm obsessed with, unlike the previous album where "Foolin' Around", "Guilty" and "So Many Girls" totally stole my attention on the first listen.

I've been sitting on this album review because I really don't know what to think of this album...initially, I was not impressed.

Sorry for making you guys wait even longer but I want to give this a chance. Usher deserves that much...

He may deserve a chance... however, for me at least, even Cheryl Cole has completely battered this album for me. A Million Lights is MILES better.

Both pop albums, Cheryl's is better.

I'm growing into the album. Enjoying it more than his last studio effort. But it's too soon to rank it or compare it with his other albums.

My favorite tracks: Looking 4 myself (love it!), Numb, Sins of my father, Euphoria, show me, climax, lemme see and can't stop now (I like how they used the sample in that one).

Got to listen better to the bonus tracks now!

Debuts at #3 in the UK (down one place from the midweek position).

Listening back to Raymond V. Raymond. I might like that album a little more than this. Maybe it's to early to be comparing this album to his others.

My favorites are Climax, Lemme See, Dive, What Happened to U and Say The Words ^^

I've just seen this videoof Usher performing Climax on the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash and i'm like wow... This man can sing, such a fierce performance... But the crowd did the whole thing in the chorus  Climax is already a classic 8-)

He hasn't had a song that's deemed a classic since "My Boo" or "Burn" right away till now with "Climax".

Just goes to show where Usher's true strength is at. His dance songs will always chart strong but his relatable songs are what everyone will remember.

I felt like he tried too hard with "Moving Mountains" and "Papers" however.

It's Da Internz. They are a duet of producers and they made Birthday Cake by Rihanna and Dance ( Ass ) by Big Sean & Nicki Minaj.

The three songs have sick beats, as you can notice. 8-)
