IMO she's very talented and one of the best contestants from any talent show... I don't understand why people are so mean to her :( !! Radio boycotting her, this is like a British "Bionic" kind of case! Nasty press!
The song and video are awesome!!!

Everyone's against her, Radio 1 are the biggest radio presence in the UK and they hate her. The tabloids are constantly slagging her off, she was praised by Dionne Warwick in her speech at the Glamour awards yet all the papers cared about was how bad her top was.

She'll have to settle for top 30 with this which is awful for a second single off an unreleased album. But with not one radio station or print media outlet supporting you and constant Twitter hate, what more can you expect? If you see her comments on Twitter she's nothing but thankful, polite and positive.

Maybe she needs to stop giving interviews! :-?

"What's point in livin' life If you are not happy" Alexandraaaaaaaaaaa

She was cute though and that voice is amazing as always...But that song doesn't sounds good as accoustic at all...

Still don't get media war and hate for her at all...

Do you not think someone would have said? I've never heard anything about her being nasty... worst I've heard from people in the industry is for one shoot 'she took ages choosing shoes even though her shoes weren't going to be in shot'. My mate who hates her had to admit he's only ever heard of her being lovely and polite, and we both work in TV.

I'm blown away as to how badly this is doing. :o

I knew that it wouldn't reach the success of 'Elephant', but I thought it would be an easy Top 10 hit. More or less, I guess it means that the album is screwed.

That's what you get for releasing a completely soulless and uninspired single. It's club fodder that's actually quite boring.

If she had released a song like "All Night Long" again, it'd be different. Miss that kinda music from Alex.

How many of us have actually bought the single ourselves? :P I know I haven't, because I'm buying the album - perhaps other people are thinking the same?

When I see the video and check how much passion and effort she put on this , it saddens me to see her flopping this badly! Top 30 o.O It might be lucky to even enter the top 30... I wonder IF they will push a 3rd single...

it's so sad, though if her label would put some effort in other terrotories this era has not to be over yet, she could have some hits in Europe, probably Australia and maybe even US with the right plan.

Looks like the press are starting to pick up on her radio snub!

From the Mirror:

Radio silence: Alexandra Burke's new single snubbed by national broadcasters' playlists
By Clemmie Moodie 2 Jun 2012 00:00
Execs at the major national broadcasters are refusing to put new single Let It Go on their A, B or C playlists.

Cue X Factor voice-over man: “She’s sold over four million records worldwide, had four UK number one singles and earned three Brit award nominations...”

But, still, Alexandra Burke is being shunned by Radio 1 and Global Radio group which includes Capital FM, Heart FM and LBC radio – and she’s not a happy camper.

While the 2008 X Factor winner remains a firm favourite with TV music networks and regional radio, execs at the major national broadcasters are refusing to put new single Let It Go on their A, B or C playlists.

Which, basically, is the equivalent of being in musical Siberia.

Says Alex: “Obviously it’s disappointing. But what can I do? The main thing for me is I’m proud of my music and the fans all love what I’m doing.

"They have all been great. I’m no longer with Simon Cowell’s label – perhaps this says it all.”

The star, 23, whose debut single Hallelujah sold more copies in a day than any other European chart entry in history, is currently signed to RCA Records after being released by Cowell’s Syco label.

Despite this, last year Alexandra was the first former contestant to be asked back by Cowell, 52, to be a guest judge on the hit talent show.

A source said last night: “It is incredibly frustrating for Alex.

“Her last single, Elephant, was a massive hit with fans and despite no radio airplay reached number three in the charts.

"Off the back of this, Radio 1 and Global should automatically have A-play-listed her.

“Instead they haven’t and Alexandra has had to rely on TV play and the support and loyalty of her dedicated fans.”

The source told me: “The feeling amongst her camp is that the BBC should be backing young, British talent, rather than making an example of her now she’s no longer with Simon Cowell.”

2012 has been a mixed year for Ms Burke.

While her new album, Heartbreak On Hold, has been critically acclaimed, she was recently left devastated by her split from Spurs striker Jermain Defoe amid claims the footballer cheated on her.

Still, at least it spawned an album title.
"Let It Go" is currently down to #53 on iTunes. :(

She should come over to America and try to break it. Her music would be played here. So said radio isn't supporting her.

I wish there was more press coverage on this as it's ridiculous for not just her but for countless other artists as well.
