a) people should save their work
b)Non-Chart users have ridicule for people who like that stuff
c)people who over-re-acted cannot simply return with any credibility! They'll be forever be labelled 'drama queens'.


Perhaps people should cut down using Forums/Twitter/Facebook.

There was a lot of comment on the lines of 'get a life'. You could say that to anyone who goes on the Net. I rarely do ( I mean for 'social' reasons). It was odd one group of Internet Forum users ctiticising another for this...lol!

It wasn't an April Fools prank, exactly! One of my favourite things about this thread is people saying they knew it was one all along, when it never was! Obviously we couldn't leave this running forever and today became an obvious time to end it, but it wasn't an AF and so it can't be a bad or boring one!

I also love how some moderators jumped in despite not even being briefed, JimJim especially and Matthew which surprised but tickled me! And that other mods were totally clueless!

Thirdly I loved finding out which of you are total drama queens, which are absolute miseries and which of you are prepared for some fun and excitement and love the site...

Thanks for giving the Reaper a whistle in my direction Graham but as I wasn't lying when I swore on my life that the original post wasn't April Fools related, he won't be necessary.

I thought it was pretty good. I mean come on everyone, if this site were to close for realz, don't you think there would've been a far more official announcement made on here (presumably by Lars himself) than some drunken rambling taken from Mike/Thriller's Facebook? (Although I admit I did get swept up for a wee minute...until a post of Adam's gave it away for me.)

I wasn't around for HevMix last year sadly, so I can't compare it to that, but for sheer hysteria and mania, this one's been the best I've seen in all my time here. Cept I got the 404 message at 8:55 this morning, so whoever was in charge of this got in 5 minutes early by my (albeit dodgy) calculations....

I don't think the actually joke itself was that funny (as it was kinda obvious that the site wouldn't close), but it led to some hilarious reactions and that made it decent.

Johnny, thanks for your PM ~ I did reply, but minutes later I was shocked to learn you'd been banned, so I'm guessing you didn't read my response.

Last night, I came close to cancelling all the survivors I have lined up, even though I didn't for a moment believe ukmix was going to close. I don't suppose it will happen, but I think the least mods can do is to invite johnnyboy to re-join us ~ I'm certain, if it wasn't for this so-called 'joke', he would never have been banned in the first place.
