Adverts on UKMIX

You might have noticed there aren't any adverts on UKMIX at the moment. It seems Google have suspended them citing "copyright violations" and provided a link to a topic from 2005!

While I'm waiting for Google to respond I'll be looking for another ad network, so I expect ads will be back soon.

I also wrote this post on Google+ about the subject. If you have a G+ account feel free to comment or re-share it.

I just read your post. Google make themselves look ridiculous once again. :-?
I hope you'll find another ad network really soon.

This is ridiculous, especially since, like you said, youtube is copyright violation heaven.

The post in question has been removed, hasn't it?

Yep, the offending post was removed. From what I can tell, Google are just incredibly jumpy around the whole copyright issue, so a single stray mp3 not caught & removed could be all it takes.

Anyway I'm experimenting with a couple of different ad networks now; if you see any adverts that are inappropriate please let me know.

The new adverts I'm seeing looks completely cool and fits with the theme of our forum
On a Wednesday, at a cafe, I watched it begin again.

Is that why a yellow bar keeps cropping up saying something can't be displayed? Is it the missing adds causing it?
