1mln+ and it's still selling well over 20k per week
Wow! That's great for you!Timmy94 wrote:It's really a dead mark that this reaches 2x Platinum .
And 20 weeks in the top 10 in the UK is like 40 weeks in the top 10 in the US ...
Album is also doing good, still in the top 10: Nothing negative to note .

Not true. Since more radio panels were added, this surely doesn't count. Look at Billboard's Airplay Chart (which is the one that matters btw), Gotye has "just" 137m AI there. Mediatraffic is really inflated now.Nackar wrote:But at the same time, it IS comparable to the AI from the time of Mariah Carey's record, right?VoReason wrote:Why is it so shocking? The numbers are hugely inflated.. The current AI that we're looking at every day means nothing compared to this time last years AI
So it's still relevant for those comparisons.
I just noticed that last week this song sold more than Gaga's Born This Way sold in its 3rd week charting (286k)!!thalisson wrote:HDS
Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know" (featuring Kimbra) slips 1-2 with 289,000 (down 10%)
