US digital market (singles) went crazy all of the sudden. It all started with We Are Young IIRC. After that, numbers in Top10, especially in Top5 are HUUUUGE!

6M witouth a doubt...all time record isn't out of question if you ask me 8-)

Billboard Hot 100:

"Somebody That I Used To Know" tops the Hot 100 for the eighth straight week. That's the longest run at #1 since "We Found Love" by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris logged 10 weeks on top in late 2011 and early 2012. It's the longest run at #1 for a male-led collabo since "Low" by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain had 10 weeks on top in early 2008.

US digital sales:

"Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye featuring Kimbra this week pulls ahead of "We Are Young" by fun. featuring Janelle Monae to become the best-selling song so far in 2012. "Somebody…" has sold 4,757,000 copies so far this year. "We Are Young" has sold 4,733,000.

Total sales: 4,837,000

I can't say I am surprised I said this song would sell 6-7M overtime, but I didn't think it would be coming so fast. So impressive!
