I understand what you're syaing but every time a black female is on a reality show that you watch, I am literally counting down the seconds untill you pull the 'aggressive, ghetto, bully' card or tick your boxes. I'm pretty sure you were overly critical of Noirin too. You do it every time. Perhaps if there was a house, half black half white you'd be able to differentiate.Blondini wrote:She IS aggressive when arguing, she doesn't listen to the other person. She is an awful representation of a black female. Perpetuating a racism you seem to be accusing me of. If i think this, it's because of Big Brother. I'm not saying she's as bad. She does share similar agrravating character traits. That Sophia girl was like this as well, rest her soul.aaliyahman wrote:Maybe that's just your narrowmindedness lumping people together who are completely different. Ghetto speak nonsense!? Would you last a millisecond in a ghetto to even comprehend what you're saying?
Shievonne is nothing like Charley or Alexandra apart from the fact she's black and from London.
I was really wondering when the 'she's just like all the rest' comment was going to come from you.
They shouldn't be putting black women like this in the house. I'd have thought you'd agree with me. Wasn't it you that made this very point when Sophia was in?
I also don't think they should be putting thick trailer trash/ chavs like Ashleigh etc in there all the time (funny how we can say "chav" and no-one pulls you up on it, even though it too is a gross generalisation). Or camp drama queens (thankfully Scott is bearable compared to past horrors). They are all encouraging hostility towards these communities.
That "slim shady" quote was "ghetto speak" wasn't it? "Are you coming at me?"
Alexandra did say similar things. I know Aisleyne did, too but she hung around with black people, that's why. (and she wasn't annoying).
Sorry if i'm wrong but i can't judge apart from what i've seen of people like her on TV.
All the phrases she throws in are extremely annoying.Thank you. Yes, completely different to Charley, Alexandra, Sophia... who never bullied or intimidated anyone.Spartan wrote:I love how calm and composed Deana remained during Shievonne's rambling. Shievonne's coming across as very nasty recently and looking for arguments. I hate her ghetto talk too, it's dreadful.
Not really fussed who goes to be frank.
And it's not just Big Brother that perpetuates a racist stereotype - Jerry Springer and Ricki Lake kickstarted it. It's not "all the rest" of black women - it's a type of black woman. But this type gives "all the rest" the bad name.
Just like Gypsy Weddings reinforces hostility towards travellers and gypsies.
Yet in this instance you're singling out one character trait and using it to slag off Shievonne. Why not use Conor or Caroline's typical character traits.
I said a few pages back that people would forget how vile Conor actually is and look what's happened, he's about to survive twice.
Have they not been consistantly FAR WORSE than Shievonne. Not in your book hey.
