Yes, that was a strange occurrence. I remember that when I posted the full Irish charts of 1987 here, a few years ago now, we tried to figure out if the same thing had happened any other times!francisplaiy wrote:28/03/1987

35(37)02 WOLFE TONES - FLIGHT OF EARLS (IRL13)
47(----)01 DUBLIN CITY RAMBLERS - FLIGHT OF EARLS (IRL10)
** Wolfe Tones and Dublin City Ramblers
both in the chart with the same song.

Yes, it was strange that those two took so long to reach Germany and nearby countries. I know they were both featured in films ("Cinderella" and "La Boum"), but I doubt it would have taken so many years for those to be released in Germany (or dubbed into German).....francisplaiy wrote:11/04/1987

15(24)08 BONNIE BIANCO/PIERRE COSSO - STAY (CH14/D14)
43(31)42 RICHARD SANDERSON - REALITY (CH12)
* Some songs like...'Reality' had already a history in this chart some years ago. But Czb spotted well that this week #15 from Bonnie Bianco/Pierre Cosso was also charted 3 years ago as a former Italian number two...So the song had a few weeks more in the chart.
