Britney Spears - I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman Live at 2001 AMA'sbiscuits wrote:I knew it was a matter of time before 'Every Time' got mentioned - it's the only song which Britney stans seem to use to argue that she can sing.
As well as Breathe on Me, From the Bottom of My Broken Heart, and others. She does not sound bad at all in any of her albums at all. She can sing well, perfect, maybe not, but yes she can. In The Zone has some of her best vocals. People just don't want to believe it or something.. ?JSparksFan wrote:Britney Spears - I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman Live at 2001 AMA'sbiscuits wrote:I knew it was a matter of time before 'Every Time' got mentioned - it's the only song which Britney stans seem to use to argue that she can sing.
I cited "Everytime" as it's her most popular ballad. It's not the only song that shows Britney's vocal ability.
Well, it's the only thing you guys seem to agree us because you think she always uses autotune when infact that she became the superstar that she is with her natural voice.. I don't think ...Baby One More Time had autotune in it. Also, it's 'Everytime'biscuits wrote:I knew it was a matter of time before 'Every Time' got mentioned - it's the only song which Britney stans seem to use to argue that she can sing.

I knew this was going to be sarcastic.
Like Lady Gaga does right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbzmw3d11Pg? Stop being delusional though. The girl can't sing live.swiftie13 wrote:I knew this was going to be sarcastic.
I'd love to see people hit all the right notes while dancing like her.. and not all moments are bad.
Really?! you bringing a video from one of her best and most intense shows dance wise to prove she can't sing?
The whole video she was standing in one place and walkingnaughty wrote:Really?! you bringing a video from one of her best and most intense shows dance wise to prove she can't sing?
I love Nicole scherzinger voice and no one can say she can'r sing but listen to her during her tours she sounds out of tune most of the time, it's so damn hard to dance and sing at the same time, let alone doing Britney Spears 2002 dance moves.
Hmmm...I think he kinda mocked Britney for not being a strong vocalist, it's unfair to do so too, because ever since day one, Britney never claimed to be the girl with the big vocals. She was always about the totality of her impact as a pop superstar, which is already proven, that is why she was obviously chosen.NothingFails wrote:I agree. I am not a big fan of Legend, but the man is talented and people forget that he has NEVER EVER at any point ever tried to compete with the likes of Usher and Chris Brown. He's never strived for pop crossover appeal, he's always been a 100% soul artist, so to mock him for not having dozens of #1 singles is against the point because it isn't like he's ever cared about that.UKMusicLova wrote:I think it's silly to mock John Legend when he is more of a musician than Britney can ever be and probably one of the best male vocalists of all time.
However, Britney has (or at least had) the X-Factor and that can't be denied
Legend is my fav voice of the generationNothingFails wrote:I agree. And maybe you should have your eyes checked because he wrote that he wasn't referring to Demi? lol Or do you just read what you want to believe?musiclover2174 wrote:LOL. Demi can sing. John Legend should have his ears checked.
Where did he said it? Oh well. Don't you blame me for reacting like this because the title of the article just say so. lolPlym wrote:Hahaha I love how the Britney stans constantly need to provide links and resources to desperately prove things to the rest of us. Keep providing those links because you won't be changing opinions!

After dancing up a storm. As you can she she was out of breath from it. Britney dance moves back then were tough... if you do that to some other artist that danced like she did they'd probably sound the same. This proves nothing.neoepzilon wrote:The whole video she was standing in one place and walkingnaughty wrote:Really?! you bringing a video from one of her best and most intense shows dance wise to prove she can't sing?

Let the media sway your opinions like they tend to. He never said that they couldn't sing either way. It's true that judges like J. Lo, Paula Abdul, and Britney Spears aren't really singers to begin with. They are street performers.musiclover2174 wrote:Where did he said it? Oh well.
