errr.... That mic feed sounds more like it is from Save The Music performance, and i'm pretty sure it was live. The uploader put the wrong title.GetBack wrote:This is so not the mic feed. This was the dubbed vocals to make it sound live! It's obviously done in the studio.Poop123 wrote:Mariah mic feed:neoepzilon wrote:it's real. just watch the whole video.Wardo wrote:OK, this gotta be fake![]()

If you listen to The Adventures of Mimi Tour in Anaheim recorded mp3s in MariahDaily, how she did the vocal runs in "My All" is somewhat different from the vocals on the DVD. It's because she dubbed over most of the vocals and layered it over the applause to make it sound like she did it 100% live. This video showing the audio of "It's Like That" is also part of the dubbing sessions.
A lot of female artists know that technique, or they either record the song using a live microphone (pre-record it before the actual performance) and use it as the 'live' vocals to make it sound like they sing so good while moving, jumping and dancing when parts of it (or maybe even the whole song) is not performed live at all.
Here's the performance:

Also, Mariah mostly used PAST performance that she actually hit the note LIVE to dubbed performances later on or she would use pure studio vocals. She's never actually recorded a special live version just to dubb lmao.
Mariah voice is flaw free with instruments or not.
For reference, Gaga's mic feed:
