To be honest, Chris would have no need to buy this Grammy.

There was virtually no competition.

If he did, he's not the only one...there's enough blame to go around.

Did you really want to see Katy Perry, Britney, Ke$ha, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna getting an award for best vocals? Maybe on Animal Planet Awards it would be possible...

Well he is infamous for complaining that he never won Album Of The Year, to the extent I think he'll never win one because he was bitching first album out... despite the fact that Springsteen, Prince, Rolling Stones and Radiohead for example have yet to win one in their careers and even Bob Dylan only won one after about 40 years.

For someone who has 18 Grammys, he is sure a sore loser when he doesn't win.

Award shows in general seem do this all the time, I'm just slightly surprised the Grammy's are being accused of this. The head of MTV International even admitted in his book that Michael Jackson only agreed to appear at an MTV awards show if he was given an award, so they created a new category just so he would win it :lol:
