Glad you like it Wardo. Also I would like to thank you to mention my fansite (jossstonebr.com)!

As this topic is about Soul Sessions Vol. 2, I would like to share with you guys that tomorrow (June 2), Joss is going to play at Rock In Rio and she'll play new songs of Soul Sessions 2 for the first time.

The good news is that www.youtube.com/rockinrio will stream it

In Brazil the time will be 16:30 (4:30pm)

Oh, so you're another Brazilian fan here. I gotta say your site is pretty good. From the design to the info, seems the best source.

Tomorrow, man. I'm really looking forward to 4:30pm. I still can remember her last Rock in Rio, full of surprises (what about Last One to Know, chosen by the crowd? :D), good vibes. The Brazilian audience LOVED that concert!

Plus, Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now featuring Turn Your Lights Down Low = LIFE!

Thank you guys for liking our website =)

We know it needs some kind of maintenance, there are some broken links because since last year I was at college so I didn't have any time to improve it more...now in 2012, I have more time so we are doing another version.

Joss deserve this promotions because she is very kind and simple.

I think the music industry wasn't fair with her. People think that she desappeared, but the truth is that she has been doing a lot of projectS since The Soul Sessions (as The Tudors series, her own Radio show in 2007, she became a Bond Girl in Blood Stone video game, she release her own record label Stone'd Records, many collabs as with Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, Betty Wright, SuperHeavy with Mick Jagger, Damian Marley, A.R. Rahman and Dave Stewart, and so on...)

So Joss is very creative, she is always involved mwith music, but the press doesn't know about that because the press it is like that: Today people remember you, tomorrow anymore...

Changing subjects: Don't forget people:

It was a really good concert! :)

The setlist:

For God's Sake - new! Uptempo, rockish, not sure if it's a cover.
Super Duper Love
Big Ol Game - first time I see her performing this :)
Stoned out of my mind - new! Not sure if is the Chi-Lites cover...
Tear drops - NEW and amazing song! I need it in my life
Don't cha wanna ride
Bad habit
You got the love - Nice choice!
Put your hands on me / I got the feeling (James Brown)
Baby baby baby
While you are out looking for sugar - cover of The Honey Cone, it was VERY GOOD!
Fell in love with a boy - the guitar intro killed me
You had me - the best live version I've ever seen
Right to be wrong

So probably she'll cover songs in Soul Sessions Vol. 2.

Edit:
God Damnitttttttttttttttttttttttttt her Teardrops is a cover from Womack & Womack. THANK YOU JOSS!

I did a little search in the web for the songs that Joss covered today and will possibly appear in Soul Sessions 2.

Here it is, with the Youtube links:

- (For God's Sake) Give More Power to the People - The Chi-Lites

- Stoned Out Of My Mind - The Chi-Lites

- Teardrops - Womack & Womack

- While You're Out Looking For Sugar - The Honey Cone

What do you guys think?

There's already a video of the Rock in Rio concert, but I'd wait for a better quality one.

Argh! This album cannot come soon enough! I need new Joss in my life. :)
I wouldn't mind a bit more chart success this time around, but even if this doesn't sell I don't think she actually cares anymore, she's just in it for the music, and that's what makes her so amazing.

Grammy award winner Joss Stone's 'Stone'd Records' label has joined forces with the label that first signed her, S- Curve Records, for the long-awaited follow up to Stone's massive 5 million selling debut 2003 album "The Soul Sessions". Entitled "The Soul Sessions Volume 2", the album will be released on July 31st and will be a joint release between Joss Stone's Stone'd Records label and S-Curve Records.

The eleven covers on 'The Soul Sessions Volume 2' include deep cuts such as "(For God's Sake) Give More Power To The People" (originally recorded by the Chi-Lites), "The Love We Had" (The Dells), "Pillow Talk" (Sylvia), "While You're Out Looking for Sugar" (The Honey Cone), first US single "The High Road" - a stone-cold soul makeover of the Broken Bells' cult hit – and many more.?

?
Stone reunited with S-Curve's Steve Greenberg earlier this year for a series of electrifying sessions in Nashville, with a stellar cast of musicians including Ernie Isley, Delbert McClinton, original Muscle Shoals Swamper Clayton Ivey, and others. The resulting album showcases a young woman at the height of her vocal powers. Ten years on from the original album, which was recorded by Stone at the tender age of 15, there is undoubtedly a new level of maturity in evidence on this set - a stunning exercise in vocal poise, passion and power.?

?
"I really had fun revisiting 'The Soul Sessions' idea and I'm really pleased with the results," Joss says. "I've committed long term to my label Stone'd Records, but it felt right to team up with Steve Greenberg and S-Curve again for this release. I think there are some great songs on the album and I loved performing them with such brilliant musicians."

?
?Official album art, tracklist and worldwide tour dates will be revealed soon.

Other release dates include: UK July 23rd, rest of world to be announced shortly.
Less then 2 months! Soooo excited for this :)
