Have you read the lyrics of "She's Not Me" ??
Yes, of course

I'm pretty sure when someone asks Madonna about this, she will say that she respects Gaga as an artist and that she finds her talented :D

Look who's reductive now.

I agree.

Madonna should've responded making music, not producing that thing called MDNA and now "paying tributes" to Gaga.

I'm sure it's just a publicity stunt for the both of them, and they're both laughing at their fanbases going in on each other.

Non-event.
+1

Without Gaga's consent, she couldn't put that performance on CD/DVD. At first,i thought of it as a cheap move but i though it over and it might be a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Gaga.

And why should Madonna be desperate? She has done it all, she doesn't need to prove herself any longer. Apart from Celine Dion, who else is still internationally relevant? I love Gaga and hope she has a healthy and long career, but to say that she's erasing Madonna's success is just delusional. Artists like MJ and Madonna will often be imitated but never be duplicated.
Did you not witness reductive-gate? Most of these younger Gaga fans do not care if Madonna has been around 30 years, Gaga is a treasure to them the way Madonna was to our generation, and it was fine to attack Madonna for her age and lack of a hit single in recent memory. The younger generation is very ADD and artists like MJ and Madge are utterly irrelevant in their eyes when we have Bieber and Gaga. And that's okay, I have no doubt when Gaga is 53 years old she'll be about where Belinda Carlisle or Taylor Dayne is now.

And nobody is calling Madonna desperate because she's still making music, they say she's desperate because she's hopping on pop trends expected from the likes of Katy and Rihanna. She'd been aging with dignity until HC came out. Does Springsteen need Justin Bieber to sell (and his album in the US has sold almost as well as MDNA) or do we need U2 to sound like Foster The People (who I actually like) to keep hip today? Bruce and U2 are contemporaries of M from the 80s and still can sell albums and concert tickets, but they're not trying to hop on the latest bandwagons for male artists/bands in hopes a few more teens who have no idea why they are legends to care. You have no idea how many non-fans I know who respected her have completely lost interest in her attempts at trying to fight people half her age and three times as hungry for the spotlight.

I'm not entirely sure that this was the wisest move on Madonna's part but it does make for good diva fight. :)

I stand by what i said. Just because she's old[er] now doesn't mean she has to sit around letting these lessers take credit for what is hers. And no she has never had this who cares attitude, do you remember the janet fued..hmm yeah

She is blunt and its about time she call out gaga for what she is, a unoriginal carbon copy of what madonna created..

To tell you the truth i think this is not all just about Born This Way...it's about everything. Lady Gaga has been compared to Madonna since 2008...almost everytime she releases a video, sometimes songs, etc...this is Madonna's way of saying "enough already!"

You keep saying that Madonna didn't do this with Britney and stuff...but they didn't got inspired by Madonna in nearly half the things Lady Gaga does :-?

Some of you are really pressed about Madonna

I'm sure Gaga will be happy with royalties she'll get once that performance is put onto CD/DVD

The only headlines she has gotten in the past 2 years is talking about Gaga. Sad an icon is reduced to this to get some publicity.

Can anyone prove it's real? If it is, Madonna's sense of humour is as good as ever. I'm sure she knows she'll still be remembered many decades from now whereas Gaga probably won't so there wasn't really any need to do this other than it being a joke.

She seems... uncomfortable on stage.

The comments on this video are too much

I'm the only idiot who thinks that she sings born this way in order to express that she doesnt care the fake rivality? Is very similar when gaga is crying with the Madonna's theeth at the end of her video "Born this way" and that means:? It doesnt care if I'm Gaga or I'm Madonna, the only things that matters is the message of tolerance and acceptance. OMFG, yes I'm such and idiot, is just my way to see their music.
WTF crying with Madonna's teeth?
