British-Albanian singer-songwriter Rita Ora just announced the name of her most anticipated debut studio album on a video chat live from the O2 Arena in London at The X Factor UK auditions on May 28th, 2012. The name of the album will be titled just “O.R.A.“. I guess time will reveal what the title will stand for. You can watch the video chat HERE
Confirmed tracks:
R.I.P (feat. Tinie Tempah)
How We Do (Party)
Facemelt
Roc The Life
Love At War
Shine Ya Light

I'm so ready for this! But if the bitch gives us a 10 track album + sticks Hot Right Now on it.. I'll attack.

I love this bitch! :D

Her style, her music... so awesome!

Very excited for this album. I wouldn't mind "Hot Right Now" to be included on the album as a bonus (as I love that song), as long as there are plenty of new great songs too! 8-)

Can't wait for this. I wonder what sound is she going for? I know How We Do (Party) is just to get a hit and I'm not sure about R.I.P.

I can't wait to hear the studio version of Roc The Life though.

I really hope her album doesn't turn into another Jessie J, one good single R.I.P/Do It Like A Dude + then the rest of the album dated shit...

I'm not really here for How We Do, it's cewt but I want her to come harder. At least the live songs she's performing sound really good, hope they come across like it in the studio!

I have a feeling it will! I'm sceptical about her.

Not even worried because "Facemelt", "Roc The Life", "Fair", and "Shine Your Light" sound amazing as well! This album will be full of good tracks.

After initially hearing her back in 2007 on Craig David's song "Awkward" I was impressed by her soulful voice.

Fastforward 4 to 5 years and I'm not so impressed with her image or music. "RIP" was good at first but got annoying very quickly and "How We Do (Party)" is not my cup of tea (imo not good). Also, she is essentially being branded as "the new Rihanna" but I'm not impressed (even though others are). (For the record I thought Rihanna used to be decent but have been bored of her since the Rated R days).

I thought she would make good ballads and mid-tempos, but obviously she wants to appeal to the masses so these days thats not an option, so I'm dissapointed. However, I did think her "Say My Name" cover was decent (I thought that would be the type of music she would make).

Not sure what to expect, but hopefully it'll be more "R.I.P." than "How We Do" as others have said.

I'm pretty hyped though.

Just saw her on MTV Live, The songs sounded great and her voice was good but a bit pitchy in parts. I love Roc The Life, R.I.P.(Without Tinie), How We Do & Hot Right Now.
I agree that Hot Right Now should be one of many bonus tracks on the album, It needs to be there as it’s her first hit and was #1.
Her look on MTV Live reminded me a lot of Rihanna, but the way she was singing, her movements and her facial expressions reminded me a lot of Beyonce.
Although her voice wasn't as great as Beyonce, she is miles ahead of Rihanna vocally. I’d say they are both a big inspiration to her.

Yup. The Ester Dean "Fair" and The-Dream's "Hello Hi Goodbye" both GREAT songs.

She said "How We Do" is the only song like that on the album.

I love that picture of her.

Judging by that live session her sound will be far poppier than what we might have expected.

I am not here for Rihanna v.2 when the original is still fiyah but if she can carve her own lane then I could become a fan.

For me her songs so far sounds very urban - influenced even HOW we do has a twinge of urban its not as pop as you like.. i noticed every song has some swagger thats what i like about her ,, that rihanna lacks is swag
