I don't think the album will leak just, because she has a listening party for some invited press folks. They are doing it, because they want to test the waters, and i don't think an early listening party like that will affect the interest from the public and fans in a negative way.

BI was released 8 months after Ride, whereas this album is set to be released 4 months or a bit more after Sweat, so it's hardly the same situation over again  I would like to have the album very soon too, but i don't think she will be able to get off to a good start with the album based on just one single before this album release coming off the last two eras. I think she needs the 2nd single out before the album, and she is not an artist, who should put out the 2nd single way before the 1st single has peaked just to get the album out fast. With that i'm not saying it wouldn't work with an Urban single and then a Pop single, but she can't put the 2nd single out to Sweat's audience long, before Sweat has even peaked...

I would be worried, if they put the album out just 2 months after Sweat, because no lead single would be enough to get the album off to a good start at this point in her carreer  Many big artists do the same too, so why is it so bad to see Ciara release 2 singles before the album release and give Sweat time to do its thing on the charts?
Perfect emilhot!

I don't know who he is, but here goes:

Melvin Carson/Twitter
?@PresidentMelvin

Usher, Beyonce, Chris Brown, Brandy, Ciara, Big Sean & Trey Songz to perform on the Bet Awards 2012. ?#watchoutkids? ?#RNBisback?
Seems almost too good to be true! But wow, wouldn't that be one hell of a award show!?

If that happens, i'll be watching the full show for the first time! I don't have enough faith in EBT to truly believe it's true though!

Well i still don't get why they banned Ride, when they play all these Trey Songz videos... They should also have invited Ciara to perform Ride in 2010, considering she's really a performer and Ride had so much hype within the Urban community! So eventhough i like some of the taste their viewers have, and i want Ciara to perform at the show, i'm still going to shade them for some of their pathetic decisions   I would get some of the respect for them back though, if they invite Ciara to perform at the BET Awards this year despite the fact that the last 2 albums have underperformed

Yeah! They banning Ride was a bit silly considering the other videos they use. Even though her sales have been low for the last two albums, she is still viewed at as a great performer by many. The reaction to the Gimmie Dat performances (Ellen & Lopez) were amazing! So, I hope they've really added her to their award show this year.

+1!

On another note she has passed 2.5 million followers on Twitter, and she is near 4.5 million fans on Facebook :)

Really want this era to succeed. If there's any female artist that gets my swagga up it's Ciara. Her tunes always get me in the right mood!

Hopefully she announces the iTunes release date for Sweat, a BET performance and the premiere date of the Sweat video! 8-) I don't want to get my hopes up too high, when it comes to the BET performance though. She has not been announced as a performer for the show yet, and i think Brandy & Kelly Rowland want the spot too...

Yeah I know! It's just a case of daydreaming! ;) I am one of those who is hoping that they didn't give up on Sweat. So yeah! A video announcment, and maybe a new official release date to iTunes and radio.

Ciara fans, she says to keep the letters 'B.O.H' in your mind. She has a surprise for you in a couple of days..
She played a song at the listening party called Boy Outta Here, and it is said to feature Rick Ross. Many think it will now be the single, but we will see, what happens. I know it seems to be feature Rick Ross, but it could still be just a Pop single, and B.O.H. could also stand for something else, eventhough i don't think it does

Article from my brand new blog TrueUrbanMusic.com:
Ciara hits the studio with Jermaine Dupri and Johntá Austin

Image

Ciara keeps recording material for her upcoming album One Woman Army. The R&B-princess has previously worked with an impressive lineup up of songwriters and producers for the new album including Da Intenz ("Birthday Cake" and "Dance (A**)"), Tricky Stewart ("Umbrella", "Touch My Body", "Single Ladies" and "Ride) and The Neptunes ("Drop It Like It's Hot" and "Money Maker"). Though that doesn't stop Ciara from continuing the recording process for the new project, as she today tweeted that superstar producer Jermaine Dupri and songwriter Johntá Austin are a part of the recording process as well.

The album is expected to have appearances from hot names as Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz and Rick Ross, when it hits stores later this year, and One Woman Woman will be released on Ciara's new label home Epic Records.

Ali Tamposi (Kelly Clarkson "Stronger") talks Ciara's new album!

Image

3. You’re a full-time songwriter these days. What’s life like?
Honestly, I really can’t even believe that this is a real job. Today I’m going to the beach because my session doesn’t start ’til six. But there are weeks when it gets really intense. I usually try to take Sundays off but there are weeks when Sunday comes that I’m a wreck. And then there are things that are mellow and cool and easy. Like right now I’m working on a Ciara album, and she’s been great. It’s Livvi Franc and I who are doing most of the writing for it, and it’s been really cool and laid back so that’s been fun. There’s a lot of angst and edge in [Ciara’s] music and we’ve tried to be really conceptual and write things that haven’t been done before and real strong women empowerment songs. This what I’ve been really wanting to do: Focus on one project. So we’ve been doing that the last few weeks now.

9. Is there a topic you haven’t covered in a song but want to?
I really wanted to use, for years, the title “One-Woman Army,” and I just used it with Ciara. I had it initially as “One-Man Army,” and I changed it and it’s [about] a strong, really independent woman that if you’re going to be a part of her life you have to be strong, a fighter, a solider. It’s a really strong song. We’re working on that right now.

How come Ciara is not writing???????????????????????????????????????/ She knows her vocals are not the best so she has to prove herself somewhere.... And "sweat" is not that good of a song to be on any album imo..... Im a huge fan but she lacking. Gaga, Adele, and Taylor can outsell everyone but the are all great song-writers as well...

I need ACTION soon. They pulled the radio and iTunes release of Sweat, so it's time for the actual single very soon. Otherwise they wont be able to release the album this year!

I am suprised with how sloppy this is handled so far, I was really hopeful with Epic and all, but it all doesn't takes off like it should, sadly.
