That was close betxeen M5 and them, the gap is so small. :o
Pleased that LP won but also glad that M5 got good sales. These two groups have attained relative veteran status in the industry now and it's good to see they are still going strong. I still prefer the music of either to many newer bands tbh.
Counting down the days until 21 outsells Morning Glory in the UK.
Mission complete on 29.12.2012 :)

Italy (fimi):

top 100 albums:
#1 (lw:#5) Living things

note: it was a case of ill-release timing last week they didn't have a full week of sales (only 2 chart days); this week marks their 4th Italian #1 album i think?

It's at least better than A Thousand Suns', which debuted with 15,230 copies sold  .

Yes, I know, but ATS was a very specific album, so I expected bigger numbers from LT

If I'm not wrong it will lose bonus points next week, so I expect a drop. :(

Well as I already wrote to you (?) in the JB-thread, they haven't had a No.-1-album since Meteora and the current No.-1-albums are very strong.
It's just very bad that Living Things dropped in its first real sales week in Flanders: That means that it could drop hugely next week...

Yaaai! I knew they could make it with a full week of sales :P
Yes it's their fourth number one album (HT peaked at #2). They joined an exclusive club, also R.E.M., Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals and Coldplay have 4 number one albums in Italy in the FIMI years (1995-present). Only Michael Jackson (5), U2 (6), Bruce Springsteen (9) and Madonna (10) have more among foreign artists.
