Thank you for the data!
wow It's insane that only one album has reached 2 million + and none of the 2012 releases have done it yet.

I'm not sure about some of those figures. EXILE JAPAN has only sold ~750k in JApan according to the official Oricon charts. Are you telling me they sold 70k in the rest of Asia? :o

So it is from Mediatraffic. I thought so.

Mediatraffic is not official, but it is a good source for worldwide sales.

Its different for each artist, and counting correctly some markets doesn't make it a GLOBAL chart.

so why not change the thread title with an added "non-official estimates" or something along that way and avoid discussions that go nowhere?
it'll be simpler for everybody since there's really no "official" world chart like it has been mentioned many times in lots of threads... :-? :P

note: just checked the change, thank you!

Once again, these are only Mediatraffic numbers..

And, by the way,

Lady Gaga's BTW has sold 130k in US in 2012 and 90k in UK... (as it can be seen in both countries YTD threads in this forum).

Plus Japan, Australia, NZ, France, Germany and many other markets where it charted these past months or it's charting now thanks to the tour...

So I think about 350k sold in 2012...

Yet it's not included in this "estimations" chart...

And where's Usher?

Where's Justin Bieber?
