Oh, god, I hate comparisons like this. You could just as easily turn this around by using the chorus of a Queen song and the verses of a Beyonce song like this:
Queen - Radio Ga Ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio goo goo
Radio ga ga
All we hear is radio ga ga
Radio blah blah
Radio what's new ?
Someone still loves you
Radio ga ga (ga ga)
Radio ga ga (ga ga)
Radio ga ga (ga ga)
Beyoncé - Halo
Remember those walls I built
Well, baby they're tumbling down
And they didn't even put up a fight
They didn't even make up a sound
I found a way to let you in
But I never really had a doubt
Standing in the light of your halo
I got my angel now
It's like I've been awakened
Every rule I had you breakin'
It's the risk that I'm takin'
I ain't never gonna shut you out
Everywhere I'm looking now
I'm surrounded by your embrace
Baby I can see your halo
You know you're my saving grace
You're everything I need and more
It's written all over your face
Baby I can feel your halo
Pray it won't fade away
------
It's so easy to say stuff like that by just manipulating the point of view. Obviously RTW has a lot more lyrics than just "Who Run the World? Girls!", and comparing only the chorus of that song to the lyrical masterpiece that is Bohemian Rhapsody is just plain stupid!
Not all choruses Queen used have been so amazing, which is why I used Radio Ga Ga as an example, because pretty much this could have been written by a six year old (the chorus, not the rest of the song, obviously).
These kinds of posts annoy the **** out of me (just like the comparison of Stairway to Heaven versus Like A G6 as to show how music today sucks - because FEM is obviously the best rep when it comes to lyrics that make sense)
