Although I loved Kelly's first single Miss Independant, I'd have to say that our Mr Pop Idol has the better voice. Vocally he can adapt to any song and although his stuff isn't exactly music to my ears he does indeed have talent!!

Will doesn't have an exceptional voice, he has a unique voice! Kelly's vocals are much stronger and more powerful! She beat him on World Idol!!

Kelly has got a good voice but there is nothing special about it , it sounds the same has every other female american singer.  and has to her beating Will on world idol, she was beaten by someone else [who barely anyone knows]it does'nt matter who won, whos the most popular,who has sang covers, when it comes to vocals Will wins.

Well it clearly matters who won as it was a world competition and the audience voted that Kelly Clarkson was better than Will young based on a perfomance! Perfomance includes vocals!!!
And Kelly's voice is extremely special, a good vocal doesn't only depend how unique the voice sounds but also the artists range and ability to provoke emotion. The winner of American Idol 3, Fantasia, may have more of a unique voice than Kelly Clarkson but it appears that her new album has only gone platinum in the US, whilst Kelly's album Breakaway was released after Fantasia debut and has gone Double platinum!!!

Why are we comparing a males voice to a females voice? will young has a nice voice and so does kelly clarkson, but who is more talented and has more sucess the answer is kelly.
kelly cracked the u.s charts and overseas as well. will young hasnt released anywhere but anywhere.
