Hey all! Just stopping by with a holiday update straight from Miss Milian! First of all the albums is basically done! That's right! Christina is currently down in Miami adding some final touches and mixing it. The photoshoot for the album is done as well. Look for the first single in January featuring Young Jeezy. Cool & Dre worked with her on the entire album and she assures me that it is hot!
So look out for the new single next year and get ready to request it and get our girl to the top of the charts in '06!
WOOO icon_biggrin.gif Miss Milian is about to make her comeback! Her last album was pretty good, can't wait for the new record!
Don't stop, make it POP.

hopefully it will be better than the last one. i think her first album was the best though.

have you notised that christina milian and ashanti have a lot in common? they only seem to release two tracks off of each album!

i wonder if after this album christina milian is going to release a collectable remixes album icon_eek.gif

I liked her first album (well, in the US) and I'm glad she's back.

I think it's too bad she never released 'Get Away' ft Ja Rule, from her first album. There's a video for it, shot in Paris.

From her second album she shouldve released Peanutbutter & Jelly or Get Loose!

"I can be that woman" would've been a great single as well.

I'm very excited to hear news of a new album! The last one was on hot and I agree with the other posts that there should have been more singles released from it.

LOL you are so funny, collectables was A BIG FLOP, that was the worst move in Ashanti's career. "Collectables" that is SUCH A funny TITLE, haha icon_biggrin.gif icon_smile.gif Christina better NOT do that. An album is supposed to have "4" or "5" singles, and having 2 singles is not much because many singers/rappers release 2 singles even b4 the album is OUT.
And I can't wait for her 3rd album, I only had her 1st album and i even bought "AM 2 PM" for $9.99 BUT I LUV CHRISTINA, SHE BEYONCE AND RIHANNA ARE MY FAV. LEADING LADIES THEN JENIFER LOPEZ, SUMTIMES, J.LO or w/e she wanna BE CALLED!!

Same here. I dunno what it was about Dip It Low, at first I liked it but soon after I just seemed to get the feeling that I'd heard it all before - obviously I'd heard the song before lol, I just mean in general. And when I hear it, audio or video, it sounds really low.

Not really a huge fan of Christina M but "Dip It Low" was a pretty good song. Wasn't too keen on "Whatever You Want" at first but I love it when it comes on in clubs. icon_biggrin.gif

She had 2 ace singles off the last album but I was disappointed by it as a whole, the first album was much stronger as a complete set, I thought. I do look forward to some new material though, I think she has a nice style and she looks hot! icon_lol.gif

I too was disappointed by the album as a whole, quite liked I need more and I can be that woman tho.

Anyone who owned the album tho.... Four words....

Peanut, butter and jelly.

The production on this was bloody awful!
