Was hoping for 'Standing O' but this is still a really good song.
Here for Ciara Harris, Leona Lewis, Scott MesCUDI, Chris Brown, Cheryl Cole and Justin Timberlake.

well, after IWTKWLI i don't think there are many songs that would certainly become a smash on this album, so it's better that she releases fans favourites or her favourite songs as singles then trying too hard to have a big hit and fail
here's hoping she follows later with UOMF, The Impossible, Standing O, Ribbon and Angels Cry

although I'm gonna wait for some actual confirmation from the label before I get too wrapped up in this, I think the best thing to do at this point is forget about IWTKWLI in the States and rush this out to radio ASAP ("O" is falling and IWTKWLI is going nowhere fast, nor do I have much faith that it ever will)
hopefully this could have an effect similar to what PCD managed with "I Hate This Part" after "Whatcha Think About That" never took off in the States

I agree, they should keep IWTKWLI as single outside USA, and rush a third one in America quickly. But I don't think H.A.T.E.U. is single material. Standing O and UOMF are the best choices. My favourite is Standing O but all of my friends that listened the album loved UOMF, Mariah has a BIG hit here, the song is catchy and funny, I can picture people grabbing for their own "Up Out My Face" in a bigger way than "Why are you so obsessed with me" which is very promising.

I really think this song has a chance, Or at least a far better chance than IWTKWLI.
She has already shown how much she loved the track. When she performed it on Today it was mostly everyone's favourite performance she did.
Also, she has a remix already done and said it's her all time favourite! I can't wait to hear this! This means she's got a professional old school remix! None of that "lets get a rapper in to shoot a few lines" remixing (cough - Gucci Mane - Obsessed)
If she gets the video out, The right Promo & an exact date for official download/release it should do well
If Oprah Winfrey was a Caucasian 22, young & independent male...She'd be me!

i can imagine the video...
She's sitting on a swing at the back of some small suburban house, the late afternoon rays are shining through the treetops and it appears that she's living alone but items belonging to her ex are still scattered around the house..flashbacks of the good times they used to have are interspersed with memories of the first time she saw him with someone else at a cafe downtown...it ends with her walking into the sunset and dropping a photo of him to the ground as she fades out... It's a low budget video you know!

If it's released and has success I'll be happy but I just can't see radios playing this, specially POP ones. It's too slow.

This is a massive fan favourite and she can nail it live so I guess it makes sense as a single but Up Out My Face would fare better, I reckon...

That's what I thought about WBT, I was wrong I guess we'll all have to see! Can't imagine her releasing it any time soon (as much as I want her too)
Also! have you noticed she's promoted H.A.T.E.U far more than Obsessed or IWTKWLI, she keeps talking about it in interviews. So, at least people know of it so far

especially when she sang it live. the line near the song's end "break you down so low" was full of emotions!
Might see me on a poster, see me at a show. But you won't see hotMCfan for free boy, this ain't no promo.

I agree! I also love the way she brought out the end of the track in the live performance! I didn't even notice it until then
Do you think she'll even release the IWTKWLI video in the U.S? It's all too quiet, wasn't it done approaching almost 2 weeks ago? Oh well! Roll out H.A.T.E.U I say

i wont have a typical emotional upset if she's decided to change the IWTWLI video around to instead shoot the HATEU video. But i think someone said it was indeed shot though, and that she wore tall black boots or something like that.

That was me It's definitely been shot! she said it'd be out for release week.. Release week has gone so I just find it odd we hear about her next single, A bunch of remixes, A Christmas song... And not the video that's been shot!

I loved WBT since day 1. WBT has a dramatic beginning that catch your attention from the start and since Mariah used like 95% full voice to perform you keep listening throughtout all the song. H.A.T.E.U. is slower, and she whispers too much. Obviously she loves the song and wants to be released like "Last Kiss" on E=MC2. As I said, I'll be happy if this turns to be a big hit but I don't see it happening.
