Amongst all the James Blunts, Corrine Bailey Raes and Jack Johnsons of this world, you find one who is slightly more significantly challenging than the others.
His intriguing debut "These Streets" is a collection of twelve fairly laid back tracks, including the single "Last Request".
Although he's from the tiny Scottish town of Paisley, Nutini, who has Italian roots, has a voice that sounds more like it came from a jazz guru, such as Miles Davis. In fact, it's the musical equivelent of drinking treacle.
Paolo Nutini is the thinking man's James Blunt.
