The list of 'catchy songs not yet turned into dance covers' is getting shorter and shorter. This time, Beatfreakz have taken the Rick James classic "Superfreak" and turned it into an average dance tune. To be quite honest, it's not really bad and the vocals are actually quite inspired. It's just that it doesn't really add anything new to the song, which was already quite danceable to begin with, so you might as well stick with the original.
As I previously predicted, "Somebody's Watching Me" managed to hang around for months on end. Now Beatfreakz are back with another awfully sampled, insipidly bad dance record that surely shouldn't have been allowed. It's bad enough that there's trash around like this in the charts at the moment, without them adding to it. Avoid.
