4 Strings - MainlineWith "Mainline", Dutch dance project 4 Strings have reached their 3rd studio album. It's been some time in the making, which explains the large number of singles/familiar tracks – "Desire", "Sunrise", "Hurricane" and title track "Mainline" are all here.

Dutch DJ/producer Ron van den Beuken provided a great new remix of the classic "Take Me Away (Into The Night)", which features the original vocals of Vanessa van Hemert who (even after having left the group) for many fans remains the voice of 4 Strings. She can also be heard on "Sunrise".

Another recognizable voice is that of Tina Cousins, who gives a stunning vocal performance on both the beautiful trance song "Diamonds" (a vocal version of "Jewel") and the brilliant club tune "Curious", currently a double A-sided single in the US with "Take Me Away".

The final familiar track is a remake of the instrumental "The Silmarillia", released in the 90's by 4 Strings producer Carlo Resoort under his alias Carlos and currently a hit single in the Dutch charts.

The album is a must-have for every 4 Strings fan and, basically, everyone who loves quality dance. Although it does leave the question as to who this random woman on the cover picture is...
