Puretone - Addicted To BassThis slice of Australian vocal drum & bass has been tearing up dancefloors, radio stations, and particularly music television for some time now, and I can't understand why. It's a rather average dance tune on first listen. I don't know what its appeal is, but slowly and surely it grows on you. The vocals are refreshingly different, and provide some interest to the drum & bass backing. Gradually this song infects you like a virus, until eventually, like me, you become "totally addicted to bass".

This is the debut single from Josh Abrahams (aka Puretone) featuring Amiel with her powerful female vocals. "Addicted To Bass" has already been a massive hit in Australia, and Puretone's debut album "Satyricon" proved to be a big hit when it became one of Musik magazine's Top 20 albums of the year in 1996. A great track, "Addicted To Bass" is certain to be a surefire hit.
