A1
|
Released: 21st January 2002.
The boys are back with their eighth single in three years. True to A1 style it has high harmonies and a poppy beat, but unlike their previous material, it won't see them doing a cheesy dance routine in matching outfits. The production is much improved and the boys have gone "rock", so their live sets will have them playing rather than miming. Possibly their best song yet, but hopefully the third album will still have true A1 cheese somewhere.

A1 are back after nearly a year away from the UK music scene. This new song sounded great at first, but is now becoming boring. It's getting far too much airplay, and they're everywhere you look. I do prefer their newer sound from their old one though - it's much more mature, and the video is of a high standard too. I hope the song will go Top 10, but I have a feeling it could go to No. 1. When the song's been around a bit longer I'm sure I'll start to like it again!
