Jimmy Eat World

Released: 28th January 2002.
The first 10 seconds into this song and my feet were already tapping. In came the brilliant, chilled out, but very strong vocals and I was almost hooked... then the chorus got me! Simple, annoyingly catchy and a piece of instrumental bliss! Not only do Jimmy Eat World pull you into their own punk/rock world, but it's very hard to resist the temptation to stay there. Lucky for me, I have! A must for anyone who knows a good song when they hear it and loves to sing along out loud.

An impressive second single from the band's latest album, "Bleed American". I preferred the first single, but this is the one that could propel them into the mainstream. It's more catchy and poppy than their previous material, so this could win them many more fans. It's a happy, optimistic record, which makes a refreshing change from the latest nu-metal releases. This proves you don't need to be a red-capped, manic-depressive fashion fool to sell a rock record.
