Shayne Ward does appear to have lost his edge somewhat as another series of X-Factor looms. About a year ago, when my praises were high for him amidst some strangely appealing ballads like "No Promises", I expected at least something in "SexyBack" territory for a follow up. Instead, what we have are two songs: one with some just plain weird vocoder effects, not to mention dodgy lyrics ("I want to thank your mother for giving you birth", for example), while the second, "No U Hang Up" is basically like Blazin' Squad's "Love On The Line" never happened. Surely Shayne can do better than this?
