Booty Luv - Boogie 2nite"Boogie 2Nite" is the debut album of Booty Luv, the project of ex-Big Brovaz singers Cherise & Nadia. The album opens with the title track and the two follow-up singles - all covers, which all too often means the listener is being let down by the remaining songs. Fortunately, that's not the case here. As soon as the next song, the self-penned upcoming single "Some Kinda Rush" blasts from the speakers, it's obvious that Booty Luv are more than just a cover band.

The album is living proof that disco isn't dead yet and nearly every song could be a single candidate - whether it's the Mary J Blige cover "Be without you", the fantastic "Good Girl's Gone Bad" written by Diane Warren, or Booty Luv's own compositions "Dance Dance" and "Something To Talk About". The disco train only comes to a slowdown with "Where You Are", and then provides a very nice bonus selection of remixes of the first three singles.

"Boogie 2Nite" is a very strong contender for Best Dance Album of 2007 - although it's sad to say that there's not really much competition whatsoever...
