After the odd appearance in a Mutya Buena video and a photo session with Kate Nash for The Observer, 19-year-old BRIT school graduate Adele arrives amidst a flurry of Mika-style publicity (i.e. this is our hot tip for 2008 etc) with her quite muted debut single. It's not instant, it's nothing new, in fact, it's not that special at all. So why the hype, pray tell? Maybe it's the fact the press think we're sheep. I don't know.
