Hamfatter

Released: 25th August 2008.
The guitar line in "The Girl I Love" sounds cool, but irritatingly, it's been used on numerous, countless occasions - one could misconstrue it for either Boratto or Teenager. After the short intro, Hamfatter then go on to rip off the works of other, more unoriginal bands. Unfortunately, not even the lovely brass can help this climb a single step above mediocre.

The ghost of Sandi Thom lives on this week in Hamfatter, who came to everyone's attention when pitching themselves to the fat cats on BBC 2's "Dragon's Den". Ground breaking a move though that may be, it doesn't detract from the fact that the music is, quite honestly, a waste of time just listening to it. In short, it makes Scouting For Girls look like a viable option, and believe me, that's not a nice position to be in.
