Jennifer Lopez
|
Released: 1st July 2002.
I haven't always liked Jennifer Lopez's music, but this song isn't >that bad. That's mainly thanks to Nas, but the song does have some sort of a tune, and a fairly catchy beat too. It won't do as well as her last single, but at least it's somewhat similar to the original version, unlike "Ain't It Funny". Not a great song, but not a bad one either, which might just make the Top 5.
(Deadman)
Not content with leaving her songs in their original format, J.Lo feels the need to revamp the fifth single from her second album - to average effect. With Ja Rule busy with Mary J, Jennifer enlists the help of Nas, whose raps can only be described as ordinary. Add to that mediocre vocals and the over-used Luniz sample for the music, and you have Ms. Lopez's least credible song to date.
