Gary Numan seems to have finally returned to the public eye after the Sugababes' "Freak Like Me" and his Best Of album. "Rip", his first single for a long while, is a dark rock song that is a little radio unfriendly. He whispers at the start which is a bit strange, but the chorus is very strong. It probably won't chart as there are only 5000 copies being made, but it's a must for all Numan/80s fans.
