"Spotlight" became the surprise pop hit of the year when it took hold of the radio waves and hung around the chart for ages. After a set of tragic circumstances, J Huds has since gone a little quiet but comes back with a bang this week. "If This Isn't Love" has taken a long time to grow on me, but listening closesly to the song you can hear her pure emotion poured out. The voice stretches far beyong the capabilities of her competition and you know she's not even trying. Full marks to her!
After the surprise hit "Spotlight", Jennifer Hudson went through a tragic period with members of her family being murdered. Understandably Jennifer took some time out of the limelight, but now she's back and is releasing her second single, from her selftitled debut album, "If This Isn't Love". The song has a classic R&B feel to it, and Jennifer's vocals soar to fantastic heights during the song. Hopefully the song will become Jennifer's first top 10 hit but I think she may struggle to go top 40.
