What with Bananarama returning as well this week, one listen of Frankee and Britt aka Mini Viva's debut single would make you think you'd arrived in 1989 by mistake. Well, not quite. But the comparisons made between them and Mel and Kim are fair enough. Already A listed at Radio 1 and a favourite of NME of all publications, "Left My Heart In Tokyo" is one of Xenomania's finest single productions so far this year, helped along by a brilliant set of remixes from Fred Falke and Chris Lake that will hopefully set them up for big things over the next few months.
