So after the usual four-year break, Natalie Imbruglia is ready to deliver her new album "Come to Life", due out early next year. So has the music been worth the wait? Well, kind of. First single "Want" marks a sonic departure for the Australian chanteuse, who dives into an electronic atmosphere to deliver a pulsating, haunting tune. Although a promising song, it's neither as inspired or catchy as previous hits "Big Mistake" or "Shiver", and that's not enough after four years out of the game.

It is always a sorry thing to see when an artist who's remained flawless up to a certain point finally makes their first slip up. Which is precisely what Natalie Imbruglia has done on the first single from fourth album "Come To Life". Nowhere near as captivating as the likes of "Torn" and "Shiver" before it, one only hopes that it's just a phase she's getting out of her system now she is newly single. One also only hopes that the album, rumoured to feature involvement from Coldplay's Chris Martin, will hold better promise.
