There is no doubt that this time Train released a feel-good song.

In my eyes the timing is good, as releasing the single at the height of spring could make more people listen to in preparation for summer!

Listeners shouldn't expect the solemn alternative rock style Train was well known for in the early part of the former decade, the melody is ukulele-driven and infectious and should be a good listen for fans or otherwise.

"Hey Soul Sister" by Train is one of the biggest pop sensations of the year in United States. This optimistic, rhythmic song reached Top 3 on Billboard's Hot 100 and became one of the most downloaded spring singles. Maybe the reason of its big popularity is the fact that the song is very similar to Jason Mraz's smash hit "I'm Yours". In my eyes it's better.
