Released: 9th September 2002. Sarah Whatmore is the sixth Pop Idol contestant to release a single, but the first of those six not to make the final ten. "When I Lost You" is more different than you'd expect, and even though her vocals don't show up well on this irresistibly catchy pop track, the production compensates for that. This could be a huge hit, but I predict it will just fall short of the Top 10. The girl in gold from Pop Idol returns. Although she didn't actually make the final ten, Sarah Whatmore impressed Simon Cowell so much that he proposed to her and then gave her a record contract. Fortunately, Sarah's debut single doesn't disappoint. "When I Lost You" is a hugely catchy tune, and will gain her even more fans than she got on Pop Idol.
