Puddle Of Mudd have already scored two Top 20 hits with "Control" and "Blurry" and this one should follow suit. It won't be anywhere near as big a hit though, partly because of the law of diminishing returns, and partly because it simply isn't quite as good as their previous hits. It's another nu-metal anthem with a loud, shouty cry of "She ****ing hates me" in the chorus. That's probably one of the things that lets it down - the lack of a radio friendly edit, meaning all airplay has had a notable gap in the chorus. Still, it shows that Puddle Of Mudd really do have the staying power that acts like P.O.D. seem to lack.

On first impressions, the third single from Puddle of Mudd's album "Come Clean" sounds like an old-fashioned corny rock song, but it grows to become a very anthemic and memorable track. Wes Scantlin's jagged voice suits the song, and despite not possessing the layers of meaning of "Blurry", the sheer simplicity of "She Hates Me" works well. This could be Top 10, but it might fall short.
