DJ Sammy - The Boys Of SummerThe past six months have seen a plethora of trance covers, most of which have been truly shocking. DJ Sammy's "Heaven" was among the better ones, but that wasn't saying much. Therefore, it comes as quite a surprise just how good this new single actually is. It's a reworking of the Don Henley classic, and it's worked a treat. There's yet more little known vocalists here, but they've been well chosen - both for having good voices, and for looking great in a video done on a beach. Expect this second DJ Sammy hit safely inside the Top 10, and probably inside the Top 5.

After the superb reworking of "Heaven", it would have been easy for DJ Sammy to do a cheap, tacky cover of Don Henley's "Boys Of Summer". Thankfully, his version has a certain touch of class and sounds very different to his debut. The vocals aren't nearly as piercing or as memorable as Do's on "Heaven" though, and this version isn't a patch on Don Henley's.
