Compared to the album version of "Gossip Folks", the Fatboy Slim remix is a stroke of genius. Norman Cook's trademark chunky bassline and hard-hitting beats convert a once mediocre hip-hop track into a potential dancefloor filler. Following the success of the Basement Jaxx remix of Missy's "4 My People", it looks like this could be just as big, and a formula that she should stick to!

Missy Elliott never ceases to amaze me with her singles and albums. While this release may not match the humour and amusement of "Work It", its unique sound is certainly very captivating. If anything, it'll make anyone think twice about labelling her 'just another female artist'.
