While Kosheen and Shy FX may have helped re-awaken interest in the drum & bass scene, this Mancunian trio have taken it one step further with their debut single. It's been around for a while now, but "Midnight" stands out as one of the most commercial, and quite possibly one of the best, drum & bass tracks ever. The inclusion of a soulful, R&B element into the mix, along with a Shirley Bassey horn sample, gives it a uniquely hybrid sound that works as both a dancefloor filler and an uptempo, semi-chill out track.

Un-Cut have already been compared to the likes of drum & bass masters Kosheen already, and their career as a band looks very promising. "Midnight" is a catchy drum & bass song with strong female vocals and was an underground smash last year. Look out for their name in lights very soon.
