Taken from his debut album "Seven Years - Ten Weeks", "Don't Let Go" is David's second single. Quite miffed at the 'less attractive brother of Gareth Gates with a piano' jibes he's been getting, David is keen to show the world that there is actually more to him than just another karaoke singer. However, I can't help thinking that maybe he needed to give us a slightly more uptempo track as a follow up single. It's a good ballad, but it wouldn't really sound out of place on a Westlife album. It will be interesting to see if he can shake off the reality TV tag in time.

While David Sneddon's debut single breezed through radio playlists without leaving too much of an impact on listeners, "Don't Let Go" does a far better job of tugging at the heartstrings. His voice shows a lot more emotion, which really comes through on the chorus. It's a marked improvement on his first single, and shows what potential the Fame Academy winner has.
