After the annoyingly catchy "Cheeky Song (Touch My Bum)" at Christmas, everyone dismissed the Cheeky Girls as one-hit-wonders - or at least, we hoped they would be! But they've gone against all odds and come up with another annoyingly catchy single! "Take Your Shoes Off" isn't going to win any awards, but it is harmless enough, and an all round good piece of pop. Who'd have thought that the Cheeky Girls would end up being bigger than Popstars: The Rivals boy band One True Voice?

Like a party guest that's forgotten how to leave, there's just no getting rid of the Cheeky Girls. Their new single "Take Your Shoes Off" will be the three most unbearable minutes of your life. It's got those same strange keyboard sounds, the same bizarre attempts at singing and the lyrics make even less sense than their debut single. People should have more sense than to buy this. It only encourages them.
