S Club - Say Goodbye / Love Ain't Gonna WaitSo, the S Club are leaving us after four long years in the music industry, and they're playing us out with the sounds of "BeSt" and this double A-side. "Love Ain't Gonna Wait" is reminiscent of earlier hits "Don't Stop Movin'" and "Alive", while "Say Goodbye" sees them return to the big ballad genre that they do so well. Quite a contrast, you might say. And you'd be right, with the two songs being on completely opposite ends of the pop music spectrum. Will the fans buy it? Yes. Is their purchase justified? Most definitely.

The final single from S Club reminds us that most of the time the band always had something unique to distinguish them from their rivals. "Say Goodbye" is one of the better ballads they've done, and it has an effect; however, it is safe and solid rather than groundbreaking. Meanwhile, "Love Ain't Gonna Wait" really should have been left to the Juniors (or S Club 8 as they are unfortunately now known).
