Evanescence - Bring Me To LifeEvanescence finally make their debut with "Bring Me To Life", and boy, was it worth the wait! It has a haunting melody, a hard, heavy beat, and Amy Lee's vocals echo throughout. The start of the song is the meat of the track. It begins with a lullaby-like melody, with quiet rock tunes in the background. Suddenly, it explodes into the track. This is definitely a strong contender for the No. 1 spot.

Taken from the soundtrack to the film "Daredevil", Evanescence's debut "Bring Me To Life" succeeds in revivifying a rather jaded nu-metal scene. A significant part of that is down to the amazing vocal chemistry between Paul McCoy and the angel-voiced Amy Lee. This helps define a truly original sound for the band, which they exploit perfectly to produce a strikingly memorable debut single.
