Big Brovaz
|
Released: 1st September 2003.
Big Brovaz were hailed as the next big thing when they burst onto the scene last year with their original debut single "Nu Flow". Since then, they've remained in the spotlight with two more smash hits. Their fourth single slows down the pace slightly, showing that the band are capable of more than one sound. "Baby Boy" is a good song, albeit nothing spectacular. The "Friends" inspired video should also generate some interest, and give them another Top 10 hit.

The fourth single from Big Brovaz is a soppy (and sloppy) ballad that, to their detriment, breaks from their established, free-flowing style. Cherise, Dion and Nadia do a sterling job to make the chorus memorable, but are dire on their own verses. Flawless, J-Roc and Randy (their real names of course!) don't help matters with their sickeningly stale rapping and, needless to say, their fake American accents.
